Good Morning Lions!
P – Prepare for college and career.
Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.
In Saturday’s Track and Field action 26 schools squared off for the Earl Engman Relays and our Lions had quite a day. Our boys Shot Put team came in 1st place and the rest of the team brought home a total of 58 medals with the distance crew bringing home the most. The highlight of the day was our girls team winning the 2nd place trophy. Great job!
The girls Soccer team would like to thank the hundreds of students, faculty and administration for all of their support this year and throughout the playoffs. Seeing you all brave the rain at the CIF Championship was truly awesome. Although we were only the “CIF Runner’s Up” we will head out to Kingsburg High School tomorrow for a chance at the State title instead, with maybe one more chance at South Pasadena. There will be no rooter bus for this long trip so stay dry and do some homework!
Great job to the softball team going 3-1 in the Savanna Tournament. Freshman pitcher LeeAnne Miranda had stellar performances in the circle as well as contributing at the plate with two home runs. Solid defense came through with amazing plays by Sierra Vang, Janessa Perez and Katie Kamikubo. Power hitters Sariyah Triplett, Eliana Alvarado and Alyssa Williams as well as timely hitting by Piper Park, Gabby Frias, Dalilah Mercado and Christine Nguyen helped the Lions dominate their opponents by 26 runs.
