In yesterday’s game of the week, the Varsity Badminton team smashed the Saxons of Loara 21-0! While the JV team also winning 15-0! Both levels are 2-0 going into today’s match against top ranked Diamond Bar.
In last night’s Soccer action our girls went up to the Fresno area and defeated this year’s division 4 CIF Champion Kingsburg. In a classic game the Lions fell behind before Sarah Ralston broke the school record in scoring her 17th goal of the season. The game remained tied through overtime until the Lions scored penalty kicks by Sarah, Kelly Almazan, Vanessa Campos, Zoe Sarun and the game winner by Zaydee Solis. Congratulations girls and good luck in the State Semi-Finals at Paloma Valley.

Make-A-Wish Club is hosting a toy drive throughout this month to bring joy to children with life-threatening conditions at CHOC Hospital! There will be a prize for the person who donates the most. Toys can be dropped off in room G3!

EXTENDED THIS WEEK Junior Ambassadors a nonprofit organization helping the less fortunates in our community that lacks access to hygiene products. We will be assembling kits for people from the Santa Ana River that includes zip lock bags, wipes, feminine products, dental care, shower items, bandaids, socks, and water bottles. We need your generosity so please donate any of the items listed above to the donation box located at the office. The last day is March 9th thank you for your cooperation!

Attention all FFA Members! Are you interested in raising a livestock animal for this school year? Well the time is finally here! Today, March 7, there will be a Livestock Parent Meeting at the Agriculture Department at 6:30pm. Animals that are available for you to raise are pigs, goats, lambs, and broilers! You MUST bring your parent in order to get approval for an animal! Please do not be late, as this is a very informative meeting! We hope to see you there!
Want to give back, but not sure how?? Well now you CAN!!!! The 1st ANNUAL District wide Canned Food Drive competition begins March 12 to March 23rd. Schools from around the district will be competing to see which school can donate the most cans. Starting March 12, bring your cans to your 4th period class. The 4th period class with the largest donation will receive a pizza party! Let’s show the other schools our lion pride and reach our goal of 10,000 pounds. We CAN do it Lions!!!!!!!
