Make-A-Wish Club is hosting a toy drive throughout this month to bring joy to children with life-threatening conditions at CHOC Hospital! There will be a prize for the person who donates the most. Toys can be dropped off in room G3!

 

Want to give back, but not sure how?? Well now you CAN!!!! The 1st ANNUAL District wide Canned Food Drive competition continues now until March 23rd. Schools from around the district will be competing to see which school can donate the most cans. Continue bringing those cans to your 4th period class for a chance to win a pizza party! Let’s show the other schools our lion pride and reach our goal of 10,000 pounds. We CAN do it Lions!!!!!!!

 

You’ve heard them singing at assembles, in the classrooms, and in the halls! Our very own Abbey Singers! Do you think you got what it takes to sing with Abbey Singers? If so come to the choir room to learn what to prepare for auditions on Monday, March 26th after school. You do not need to have been in choir to audition.

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES!!! If you did not attend Passport to Success, you now have the opportunity to log onto your Aeries account to select classes for next school year. The course selection window will remain open until today. Check for an email from Mr. Bennett or ask your English teacher for directions.

 

WHO will be the next Mr. Westminster and winner of this year’s talent show??? Find out at at the Mr. Westminster/Talent Show on March 22nd from 7-9 in the WHS gym. Tickets are on sale NOW! Presale tickets are $5 and $7 at the door. Want to get in for free?? Then bring 20 cans of food to donate at the door and admission is FREE. You don’t want to miss out!

 

Hey Lions! The Risen Christian club will be meeting this Thursday at lunch in room N-12 and we would love to have you join us! Pizza is provided so you don’t need to take time to buy your lunch, just come!

 

Students , Having trouble with your school work? need some advice about college? or just advice in general? then Project HOPE is the program for you. We provide tutoring in all subjects, one on one peer advising, college preparation workshops. ust come to room L-3 every Tuesday afterschool from 3-5:30 and we can get you started. If you have any questions, come by L3 and ask for Mr. Pham or Mr. Burns.

 

Don’t forget to show your college spirit on Wednesday! Wear your favorite college gear!

At this event you will learn about college admissions requirements such as A-G courses, college entrance exams, financial aid and so much more. Sophomores! If you are thinking about taking Latino Literature Junior year for English and would like to know more about the class, please come by at lunch on Tuesday March 20th to room J-27, Ms. Dadabhoy’s classroom.

 

Good Morning all you Westminster Lions! Today your very own Book Club is kicking off the Easter Gram sales in Buckingham and Abby Squares during lunch! You can almost hear the happy birds singing in cute little Easter nests, each with a special treat, and happy message for delivery to the important people in your life for the Spring season. Come early and get your pick. That is all week, Abby and Buckingham Squares. Easter Grams are on SALE today! You’re gonna love them!

 

Interested in a medical career or in need for volunteering hours? Join American Heart Association club this Thursday, in H5, Mrs. Gonzalez’s room, and save a life!

Come out to the Game of the Week on Thursday, March 22ndwhere the boys and girls swim teams will take on the Santa Ana Saints. The meet will take place at Oceanview HS at 3:00pm. See you there Lions!

 

Attention All French Club Members! There is an important meeting Wednesday March 21 at lunch in E7. Members who have not returned their bonbons fundraiser money are remind it to please return it at the meeting!

Attention any girls interested in playing water polo: we will have a team meeting Monday, March 26 during lunch in L1.

 

Hey lions, don’t forget that TOMORROW is Key Club’s first Super Smash Bros. Tournament in room B11 after school at 1:40 pm. Be sure to sign up today outside room G3 during lunch if you are interested in competing.

For the 300 seniors who did not take a Senior photo for the Yearbook we began yesterday and not one senior showed up! Is that the message we are supposed receive? This is the final week. Show up in nice clothes between zero period and the end of lunch in room k1. The cost is $15.

Attention all LGBTQ+ students! GSA is having a meeting today in E7 during lunch! Come by and be yourself!

 

Seniors…today is the absolute last day that you can nominate seniors for the Senior Class Favorite section of the Yearbook. Help us out here and do it on your phone or computer. It’s on the school website.

 

Seniors!! Graduation Products will be delivered this Friday, March 23rd by the Activities Office during Lunch. Graduation products include the following items: Graduation Announcements Name Cards, Tassels and ALL other Senior remembrance items that were ordered back in January when you ordered your Caps & Gowns.

 

The Ring Man will be back Friday, March 23rdduring Lunch by the Activities Office for Class Ring Orders and Deliveries. . Extra ordering packets are available in theOffice.
