In yesterday’s badminton action, our lions traveled to cypress high school and came home with an outstanding victory! Our varsity and jv lions overpowered the centurions with a score of 17-4. Amazing job lions!
Good luck to our amazing OCAD team: Nina Ho, Tiffany Ho, Regina Ngo, Robin Nguyen, Jeffrey Sau, Drake Mahoney, Casey Nguyen and Michelle Lee. They head to Sacramento for the 12th consecutive year at State Finals. Because of their success this year they compete in the highest division against the top schools in the nation. Good luck Lions! The Den is with you in spirit!
Make-A-Wish Club is hosting a toy drive throughout this month to bring joy to children with life-threatening conditions at CHOC Hospital! There will be a prize for the person who donates the most. Toys can be dropped off in room G3!
Want to give back, but not sure how?? Well now you CAN!!!! The 1st ANNUAL District wide Canned Food Drive competition continues now until March 23rd. Schools from around the district will be competing to see which school can donate the most cans. Continue bringing those cans to your 4th period class for a chance to win a pizza party! Let’s show the other schools our lion pride and reach our goal of 10,000 pounds. We CAN do it Lions!!!!!!!
You’ve heard them singing at assembles, in the classrooms, and in the halls! Our very own Abbey Singers! Do you think you got what it takes to sing with Abbey Singers? If so come to the choir room to learn what to prepare for auditions on Monday, March 26th after school. You do not need to have been in choir to audition.

Enjoy different cultural foods, games, performances and so much more without having to leave and attend our Multicultural Fair on Friday, April 13th. The fair will take place in Buckingham Square from 5-8pm. Get your tickets for the low price of $3 for ALL WHS students, $5 for non-WHS students, and $7 for adults. Tickets go on sale March 26th.
