Good Morning Lions!

Come see Mr. Brothwell, Mr. Boyd, Ms. Lambert, Ms. Gonzalez, Mr. Gane, Mr. Vallejo, Ms. Mercadante, Ms. Wisniewski, Ms. Hill, Ms. Zeltner and Mr. Berger in Rick Abbott’s Play On! Tickets are $7 until 3pm. At the door tickets are $9. Show time is 7:30 in the Globewest Theater. Don’t miss out!


We know Ms. Dadabhoy’s and Ms. Jordan’s 4th period classes won the spirit dress up contest, but which departments had the highest percentage of participation? You guessed it! History squeaks by World Languages to win again (but only by 2%)! Also, congratulations to our Food Services members who won for their category! Keep up the spirit, Lions!


Seniors- remember to come to the Career Center today or tomorrow between 1pm and 3pm to take your college commitment picture. Dress in gear from your future college if you can.


Hey Lions! Yearbooks are on sale now until May 1st for $95. After May 1st, you will not be able to buy a 2017-18 yearbook so don’t delay, buy one today!


Hey Seniors- the traditional panoramic picture of your graduating class will be taken on Tuesday, April 24th. To purchase a copy, come to G-1 to get an order form. Payment is due the day of the picture.

Hey Juniors and Seniors- if you missed the flash sale, prom tickets are back on sale from now until April 27th. Remember to turn in your dance contract to supervision and bring your approved contract to the Finance Office. Don’t miss a night in the spotlight.


Attention Spanish-speaking students! If you plan to enroll in Spanish or Español classes, you are required to take a placement exam. Placement exams will take place in room F8 at lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. If you are already in an Español or Spanish class this semester, you don’t need to come. See Mrs. Machado in room F8 for more information.


Attention Lions, Mrs. Duremdes ROP Career Specialist has moved to an office in the Library. If you want to register for next year or get a work permit, please stop by the Library.

Hey Lions, AP exams are fast approaching! Come to N-12 on Friday during lunch for the Math Club meeting to prepare!


The Junior Ambassadors, a nonprofit organization, are helping the low income mothers in Orange County mothers who are in need of baby and maternity items. We will give the items we need like diapers, wet wipes, diaper cream, baby powder, sock, and underwear. However, we are in need of your help and donations to give back. So please donate the items we need to the donation box located at the office. The last day to donate is May 4th. Thank you for your cooperation!


Hey Lions! The Risen Christian club will be meeting Today at lunch in room N-12 and we would love to have you join us! Pizza is provided so you don’t need to take time to buy your lunch, just come!


Are you asking that special someone to prom but don’t have the artistic skills to do so? ASB is now accepting prom poster requests so pick up your form in G1 and get it in by the deadline, tomorrow, April 20th


Would you like to win a ticket to prom? Then come to the Prom Boutique in the library on Saturday from 9 to 2 PM and enter the drawing.


Shakespeare Festival is upon Westminster High. Bray out the bard’s plays and poetry by entering competitions for prizes and bragging rights next week. Talk with thy Language Arts teacher for details.


Students! Check with your school email to see if you were nominated for a Leo award this year. There is important information that was sent to you, and there’s a survey deadline of May 1. You may also check the printed Leo Nomination list, which is in front of ASB.


Did you hear there’s a Prom Boutique on campus? Yes, it in the library after lunch on Friday and from 9-2 p.m. on Saturday. Hundreds of dresses to choose from. Come check it out.
