Good Morning Lions!

Lions, this is your last chance! Don’t miss the Lion Den hit, Play On, a play about putting on a play. The WHS cast of staff is hilariously engaging. Your last opportunities to see this hit are tonight at 7:30pm or tomorrow’s matinee at 3:30pm and a final showing at 7:30pm. Tickets available in the Finance Office for $7 advanced purchase or $9 at the door.


Congratulations to the Lions Golf Team for their 36 stroke victory over the Orange Panthers at Meadowlark Golf Course, The Lion attack was spearheaded by medalist Dylan Slayton, Alan Pham, and freshman Daniel Tabata. Slayton and Pham will represent the Lions at Orange League finals on Mondayat Dad Miller Golf Course in Anaheim.


Seniors- remember to come to the Career Center today between 1pm and 3pm to take your college commitment picture. Dress in gear from your future college if you can.


Hey Lions! Yearbooks are on sale now until May 1st for $95. After May 1st, you will not be able to buy a 2017-18 yearbook so don’t delay, buy one today!


Hey Seniors- the traditional panoramic picture of your graduating class will be taken on Tuesday, April 24th. To purchase a copy, come to G-1 to get an order form. Payment is due the day of the picture.

Hey Juniors and Seniors- if you missed the flash sale, prom tickets are back on sale from now until April 27th. Remember to turn in your dance contract to supervision and bring your approved contract to the Finance Office. Don’t miss a night in the spotlight.


Attention Spanish-speaking students! If you plan to enroll in Spanish or Español classes, you are required to take a placement exam. Placement exams will take place in room F8 at lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. If you are already in an Español or Spanish class this semester, you don’t need to come. See Mrs. Machado in room F8 for more information.


Attention Lions, Mrs. Duremdes ROP Career Specialist has moved to an office in the Library. If you want to register for next year or get a work permit, please stop by the Library.

Hey Lions, AP exams are fast approaching! Come to N-12 on Friday during lunch for the Math Club meeting to prepare!


The Junior Ambassadors, a nonprofit organization, are helping the low income mothers in Orange County mothers who are in need of baby and maternity items. We will give the items we need like diapers, wet wipes, diaper cream, baby powder, sock, and underwear. However, we are in need of your help and donations to give back. So please donate the items we need to the donation box located at the office. The last day to donate is May 4th. Thank you for your cooperation!


Would you like to win a ticket to prom? Then come to the Prom Boutique in the library on Saturday from 9 to 2 PM and enter the drawing.


Shakespeare Festival is upon Westminster High. Bray out the bard’s plays and poetry by entering competitions for prizes and bragging rights next week. Talk with thy Language Arts teacher for details.


Students! Check with your school email to see if you were nominated for a Leo award this year. There is important information that was sent to you, and there’s a survey deadline of May 1. You may also check the printed Leo Nomination list, which is in front of ASB.


Did you hear there’s a fashion show in Buckingham during lunch today? Yes! Come check out dresses from the Prom Boutique. Plus the boutique is open after lunch in the library until 3:00 p.m. It is open on Saturday 9-2 p.m. Hair and make-up stylists will be there.


Are you asking that special someone to prom but don’t have the artistic skills to do so? Today is the last day for prom poster requests so pick up your form in G1 and get it in TODAY!!!!
