Good Morning Lions!

Hey Lions! Yearbooks are on sale now until May 1st for $95. After May 1st, you will not be able to buy a 2017-18 yearbook so don’t delay, buy one today!

Hey Juniors and Seniors- if you missed the flash sale, prom tickets are back on sale from now until April 27th. Remember to turn in your dance contract to supervision and bring your approved contract to the Finance Office. Don’t miss a night in the spotlight.


Attention Spanish-speaking students! If you plan to enroll in Spanish or Español classes, you are required to take a placement exam. Placement exams will take place in room F8 at lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. If you are already in an Español or Spanish class this semester, you don’t need to come. See Mrs. Machado in room F8 for more information.


The Junior Ambassadors, a nonprofit organization, are helping the low income mothers in Orange County mothers who are in need of baby and maternity items. We will give the items we need like diapers, wet wipes, diaper cream, baby powder, sock, and underwear. However, we are in need of your help and donations to give back. So please donate the items we need to the donation box located at the office. The last day to donate is May 4th. Thank you for your cooperation!


Shakespeare Festival is upon Westminster High. Bray out the bard’s plays and poetry by entering competitions for prizes and bragging rights this week. Talk with thy Language Arts teacher for details.


Shakespeare Fest Fun Fact of the Day: During his life, Shakespeare wrote at least 37 plays, 154 sonnets and a number of poems! that we know of. In addition there are a number of “lost plays” and plays that Shakespeare collaborated on. This means Shakespeare wrote an average 1.5 plays a year since he first started writing in 1589.


Students! Check with your school email to see if you were nominated for a Leo award this year. There is important information that was sent to you, and there’s a survey deadline of May 1. You may also check the printed Leo Nomination list, which is in front of ASB.


Hey Lions!! Run on out to the track for the Game of the Week on Wednesday, April 25th at 3pm!!! The Lions will go against the Oceanview Seahawks in a meet you won’t want to miss!!


Attention Sophomores and Juniors. ROP Summer schedule is out. Come to the ROP office in the Library to look at all the Summer class offerings.

Seniors- Tuesday is your special day! Come to the gym at 10am to check-in for your panoramic picture followed by a celebration of your future plans. An Agenda for the event has been sent to your school email. Looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2018! You will be missing periods 3 & 4 but you will only be excused if you enter the gym.

Lions, if you are interested in taking the Vietnamese Placement Exam for Vietnamese classes next school year, please come to room F7 after school at 1:30 on Wednesday, April 25. If you have any questions, please come see Co Thao in room F3 or Co Lan in room f7.
