Congratulations to Simon Nguyen for becoming the league MVP and league champ after winning straight sets in yesterday’s tennis finals for singles at Santa Ana. Let’s also give it up for tennis most injured player Kody Nguyen and his two-time doubles league champ partner, Martin Nguyen, for taking first place in league for doubles after winning an epic 5-hour breathtaking battle. Congratulations to the boys’ varsity tennis team for winning league for the fourth consecutive years.

Hey Lions- Do you play the game Overwatch? Well, we have 6 students who have been competing in the youth esports America series and tonight at 7pm this undefeated team competes in the semifinals for a chance to win $10,000. Good luck to Andy “Genos” Nguyen, Bruce “alpharuby” Tran, Brandon “Hipster” Tran, Kaitlyn “Tesla” Huynh, Alvin “Moldy” Nguyen, and Jesse “Lemmenut” Mar. A link will be sent to you this afternoon so you can watch the live stream at 7pm tonight. Go Lions!


Congratulations to the girls JV and boys Frosh/Soph and JV Track and Field teams for winning the league championships yesterday. Also to individuals Jacklynn Tran, Carlos Velasquez, Jonathan Nguyen and Cristian Flores for their qualifying for Division 1 CIF competition. More results will be announced on Monday, so stay tuned Lions!


The Junior Ambassadors, a nonprofit organization, are helping the low income mothers in Orange County mothers who are in need of baby and maternity items. We will give the items we need like diapers, wet wipes, diaper cream, baby powder, sock, and underwear. However, we are in need of your help and donations to give back. So please donate the items we need to the donation box located at the office. Today is the last day to donate. Thank you for your cooperation!


ATTENTION SENIORS – The Fines List has been posted for Seniors currently owing fines. Please check the Finance Office window (G1) to see if you currently owe any fines. Now is the time to work to clear them.

Attention students! The Westminster City Council is currently seeking qualified applicants to serve on the Youth Committee. If you care about your community and wish to offer input to your City Council on behalf of the youth in the City of Westminster, this may be just the opportunity you have been waiting for! See Mrs. Gomez in the College & Career Center, the CCC, for an application!


Seniors, if you’d like to speak at graduation, applications are available in G-1 and due May 15th.
