Congratulations to the softball team for advancing to CIF with a 3-0 win over Loara. Behind the strong defensive plays of seniors Norma Bernal, Katie Kamikubo and Jenessa Perez, as well as timely hitting by Piper, CeeCee, Alyssa, Eliana, Gabby and Sariyah, the Lady Lions were able to extend their season. Great job to LeeAnne Miranda for pitching the shutout and recording her 103rd strikeout. Well done ladies!!

 

Hey Lions! Join Keyclub today in L-3 during lunch to get updates on upcoming service events.

 

Hey Lions! The Risen Christian club will be meeting today at lunch in room N-12 and we would love to have you join us! Pizza is provided so you don’t need to take time to buy your lunch, just come!

 

ATTENTION SENIORS – The Fines List has been posted for Seniors currently owing fines. Please check the Finance Office window (G1) to see if you currently owe any fines. Now is the time to work to clear them.

 

Seniors, if you’d like to speak at graduation, applications are available in G-1 and due May 15th.

 

All Sophomores and Juniors, ROP has 9 Summer courses and 3 of them full fill the UC-F requirement, Computer Graphics, Visual Imagery, Film Digital Media. These are 6 week courses and receive 10 credits. For a FULL listing of ROP courses, see Mrs. Duremdes ASAP in the Library to sign up. Seating is limited. First come first served.

 

Are you interested in gaming? Do you play games such as Fortnite, Hearthstone, Overwatch, or League of Legends? Do you want to earn scholarships for playing those games while competing against other schools in Orange County? Join us for our informational meeting about eSports on Friday, May 11at Lunch in B11.

Hey Students and Staff? Do you wonder what might be cookin’? It’s CHIPOTLE!!! Book Club is having its most delicious fundraiser next Monday, May 14, from 3 PM to 7 PM. Come for an afternoon snack or bring the family for dinner! Yum! Vouchers are around the school, or use your phone when you buy anything off their menu! Muy Sabrosa la comida! That is next Monday, May 14th, 3 PM to 7 PM. See you there!

 

Please turn your blood drive permission slip into E1 before school or at break. You can also give it to a Health Academy member to put in E1. Ms. Braun is off campus all week.
