Congratulations to the girls tennis team for their 15-3 win against godinez led by seniors Megan chow, Vanessa Escobedo, Daniela Gomez, and Vina Pham. We wuggle you. Good luck on next week’s game against segerstrom

Hey Lions! Do you like saving money? Do you want half off your jamba juice for a year? If you answered yes to either question, you should buy a Westminster Discount Card from choir! The cards are on sale until October 5th! See a choir student or Ms. Scharf in room C2 for more details!

Hey sophomores, juniors, and seniors! If you’re interested in joining an academic club that would look amazing on your college resume, National Honor Society is having their informational meeting today! Grab your friends and come to Room L5 during lunch. Again that is today in room L5! See you all there!

 

Attention all Students! Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will be our guest speaker in the Library at Lunch Friday Sept. 28th. Please see Mrs. Duremdes in the Library Office to sign up. They have a lot of opportunities to offer you after graduation.

 

Parking stickers are now being SOLD. Stop by the Student Services office to get your application . The price is 60 dollars for the year.

 

Book Clubbers! Welcome back to WHS! Former members and officers, please come and meet with me at lunch today to discuss Club Rush Week. Room J8! See you today!

 

Do you like seeing our WHS staff in action? Come out on Thursday, September 27 at 7:30pm to watch our own staff take on the Power 106 team in a competitive game of basketball! It is $5 with ASB and $7 without, see you all there!

 

Are you good at designing T-shirts? This is your chance to show off your skills! We will be having a Battle of Boswell T-Shirt Design Contest! This contest starts NOW through next week until Wednesday, and our Lions will be voting for the best! Submissions can be emailed to Ms. Karpinski. Take a chance to design a shirt for the biggest football game of the season!

 

Students – we are looking for nominees to run for School Site Council. Would you like to represent your student body? Please see Miss Milligan in the Activities Office by Monday, September 24th for more details and to add your name to the ballot.

 

Attention all lions! Did you see the brand new Hurley shirts around campus, but didn’t purchase a Super Leo to get one? That’s okay because we have them on sale NOW at the Finance Office! It is $5 with ASB, $10 without, and $5 for staff! Hurry now and pick one up, there´s only a limited amount left!!

 

Attention All Athletes! Whether you are currently playing a Fall sport, have made a team for the upcoming Winter season, or plan to play a Spring sport, our 4th Annual Athletic Summit is back this Saturday from 9-11am in the gym. We have 2 great speakers, lunch, and a few other surprises for you! See you there Lions!!

 

Come celebrate the independence of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Chile, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Nicaragua Today from 4 to 7 pm in buckingham square. Presale tickets for $1, $2 at the door! We will have music, games and lots of chances to win prizes! Bring extra money to try some of the delicious food we will have for you and your whole family to enjoy!

 

Stop by the student services office to pick up your No 5/6 sticker.

 

Students! Back to School Night is this coming Wednesday, and begins at 5:45PM. Your first period teacher will give you the info flier to give to your parents. On Wednesday, we will have a minimum day, and on Thursday we will have a late start day. Both schedules can be found on our school website.

 

Remember to turn in your lunch applications. The 30 day Grace Period is over at the end of September. Go to K-11 and pick up your applications now.
