Good Morning Lions!


D – Demonstrate digital literacy.


Thinking about going to college but don’t know how to get there? Need help in those math and science classes? Want to visit various universities in California? Freshmen! Join Upward Bound! All of these services are free for qualifying students! The program will help mentor you into figuring out your career goals, how to achieves those goals, and assist you throughout high school. If you are interested, come to the Career Center and talk to Richard during break or at lunch!


Hey Lions! The Risen Christian club will be meeting today at lunch in room F-6. We would love to have you join us! Pizza is provided so you don’t need to take time to buy your lunch, just come!


All Girls wanting to play on this year’s defending League Champion Soccer team need to attend tryouts held today and Friday. The Girls Soccer Tryouts are from 3-5 pm on our grass fields on the 18th and 19th of October. That’s this week ladies. Good luck and let’s have some fun!

Watch our Lions go against the Segerstrom Jaguars this Friday for our Homecoming game! Wear your Lion gear. Also, make sure to come to watch your 2018 Homecoming King and Queen be revealed! See you there Lions!


Hey Lions! Come support WHS choir in their first concert of the year! The concert will be at 7pm on Wednesday October 24th in the Cafeteria. Tickets are on sale now for $3 or you can buy them at the door for $5. Don’t miss out! There will be songs sung in Spanish, Latin, German and Swahili! Come support!


Rewrite the Stars this Saturday at AV Irvine for Homecoming 2018! Tickets are now on sale for $50 with ASB and $60 without ASB. Have the GREATEST night ever and enjoy refreshing drinks, moment-capturing photobooths, an exclusive ice cream truck, and much more!


Enjoy some boba at Ding Tea Westminster for Stand Up to Cancer’s fundraiser, happening today and tomorrow. Make sure to mention stand up to cancer at the register and to bring your friends with you!!


Esports Club is having a meeting after school today in K10. Learn how you can participate in the competitive scene of video games for games such as Fortnite and Overwatch. Compete for a chance of scholarships!

10th and 11th grade students will take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 24th. The bell schedule is available on our website. On Monday or Tuesday, we will conduct a pre-administration session through English classes. You will receive a slip with your testing room and a few reminders for test day. Lists will be posted near the attendance office.

Bonjour French Club members! Our next meeting will be on OCTOBER 24TH in E7 at lunch! There will be food and extra credit, so be sure to come out!
