Tomorrow is PSAT day! 10th and 11th-grade students, be sure to get a good night’s sleep. Be here by 7:30AM with #2 pencils, a snack, and an acceptable calculator. 9th and 12th-grade students should plan on arriving to school at 11:00AM. The bell schedule is available on our website. Hey lions! There will be a Stand up to cancer rmeeting TODAY during lunch in room G3. We’ll be discussing apparel, so make sure to come! Bring your lunch and your friends.

 

Thinking about going to college but don’t know how to get there? Need help in those math and science classes? Want to visit various universities in California? Freshmen! Join Upward Bound! All of these services are free for qualifying students! The program will help mentor you into figuring out your career goals, how to achieves those goals, and assist you throughout high school. If you are interested, come to the Career Center and talk to Richard during break or at lunch!

 

Hey Lions! Come support WHS choir in their first concert of the year! The concert will be at 7pm on Wednesday October 24th in the Cafeteria. Tickets are on sale now for $3 or you can buy them at the door for $5. Don’t miss out! There will be songs sung in Spanish, Latin, German and Swahili! Come support!

 

Are you a jock or a nerd? Wear either a sports jersey or dress up like a nerd tomorrow for our third day of spirit week! Remember, tickets for Battle at Boswell are on sale now!

 

Bonjour French Club members! Our next meeting will be on OCTOBER 24TH in E7 at lunch! There will be food and extra credit, so be sure to come out!

COLLEGE VISIT ALERT! COLLEGE VISIT ALERT! Representatives from CAL STATE LONG BEACH will be in the College and Career Center AT LUNCH ON THURSDAY! Come check out what CSULB has to offer! Check your emails or see Mrs. Gomez for a schedule of college visits!

 

Students , Having trouble with your school work? need some advice about college? or

just advice in general? then Project HOPE is the program for you. We provide tutoring in

all subjects, one on one peer advising, college preparation workshops. ust come to

room L-3 every Tuesday afterschool from 3-5:30 and we can get you started. If you

have any questions, come by L3 and ask for Mr. Pham or Mr. Burns.

Battle at Boswell is back! Watch our mighty Westminster lions take on the Marina vikings this Friday at Boswell Stadium at 7PM. Make sure to buy your ticket to the pregame party for $7 w/ASB or $10 w/out ASB which includes a FREE special edition long sleeve, game admission, FREE carnival games, a chance to play video games like Fortnite, and enjoy some food from Raising Canes for purchase. So remember to deck out in ALL white and lets pack the stadium!

 

Come out to American Heart Association’s Cane’s Sweet Tea fundraiser AFTER SCHOOL on October 24th in ABBEY SQUARE. $3 for 1, $5 for 2! There is extra credit for Uzzi, Gonzalez, and Ramirez! See you there!

 

Come out to UNICEF’s Krispy Kreme Fundraiser AFTER SCHOOL today in ABBEY SQUARE! $1 per donut! There is extra credit for Mrs. Uzzi and Mr. Cain! See you there!

 

Hey Lions! The Risen Christian club will be meeting this Thursday at lunch in room F-6. We would love to have you join us! Pizza is provided so you don’t need to take time to buy your lunch, just come!

 

Hey lions! Join us in room T13 during lunch for an INTERACT Club meeting on Friday, October 26th. We have some wonderful events planned, so make sure you come!

 

It’s Red Ribbon Week and we are taking a stand against drugs. Join us. Take the pledge: www.redribbon.org/pledge. Wristbands will be delivered to your 4th period class by the end of the week.

 

Happy Halloween Friendship Club Members! Don’t forget to come to our meeting this Thursday in M-10 during lunch. It is going to be a Spooktacular time! HA HA HA!

Attention students! The Club de Español will have a very important meeting today to discuss the festivities for Dia de los Muertos. Please come to E5 at lunch if you wish to be part of these awesome opportunities to showcase to the community a piece of culture. Everyone is welcome! Don’t forget it’s in E5 at lunch time!
