Eric Albright

Eric Albright graduated from Rolling Hills High School and went on to play baseball at LA Harbor College and later played catcher for the famed 1989 Texas A&M University baseball team that was touted as perhaps the best college baseball team of all time after an amazing 58-7 record.  Mr. Albright was selected as most valuable player of the Southwest Conference tournament during his senior year at Texas A&M after hitting a grand slam and a three-run home run against Texas for a tournament-record seven RBIs. He hit .332 with 15 home runs and 70 runs batted in that season for the top-ranked Aggies. He spent four (4) years in the Detroit Tigers farm system after college.

Mr. Albright earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Texas A&M and later his Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration at Concordia University.

Before coming to WHS, he served as Athletic Director for 12 years at Righetti High School in Santa Maria, California.

Mr. Albright has been married for 20 years to his wife Jana; they have a son who is a college freshman and a daughter who is a senior in high school.
