Richard Penjoyan Educational Trust Scholarship – Deadline: May 13, 2019. Grade: Senior
The goal of this scholarship is to help provide youths the academic opportunities to achieve their personal goals to better themselves and the community in which they reside.

Kids’ Chance of California Scholarship – Deadline: May 15, 2019. Age: 16+
To be eligible for a scholarship grant, applicants must have a parent who has been killed or seriously injured as a result of a work-related accident that meets the criteria of the California Workers’ Compensation Act and that has resulted in demonstrated financial need.
Soroptimist International of Westminster Scholarship – Deadline: May 17, 2019. Grade: Senior
Graduating high school senior that is planning to continue their education at a four-year college or university, a community college, a technical school or a trade school. Must be a student graduating from Westminster High School and must have attended Westminster High School for at least two full academic years.

Workplace Rights Law Group Annual Scholarship – Due August 1, 2019. Grade: Senior
As college applicants or students, you will soon be entering the workforce. Once there, how you’re treated, how you can behave, how you’re paid, eligibility for benefits and all hiring, promotion, discipline and termination decisions will be subject to employment and workplace laws. They will impact your day-to-day life like no other area of the law. Because of that, it’s never too early to begin understanding the rights and obligations you’ll have as an employee.
UNIGO $10K Scholarship – Due December 31, 2019
Open to all students aged 13 and over. Submit an online written response to the question: “Imagine a historical figure is brought back to life. Who is it? What’s their favorite mobile app?” (250 words or less)

Edison Scholars Program – Deadline: December 14, 2018. Grade: Senior
Edison Scholars was created to recognize the makers of tomorrow – students with big dreams to help power the future. The program awards college scholarships to help fuel your passion for making a difference by studying science, technology, engineering and math.
AXA Achievement Scholarship – Deadline: December 14, 2018. Grade: Senior
The program is open to high school seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Applicants must be United States citizens or legal residents and must have demonstrated ambition and self-drive as evidenced by an outstanding achievement in a school, community, or workplace activity.
Snaps for College Cash Scholarship – Deadline: December 30, 2018. Grade: Senior
Snap a selfie and post how you will spend money in college! Winners can win a $5,000 scholarship, college technology package, or a $250 gift card.
APIA Scholarship Program – Deadline: January 10, 2019 Grade: Senior
The APIA Scholarship is open to Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) high school and college students who will be enrolling or are currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in the upcoming academic year. There are multiple scholarship opportunities that vary in award amount, number of years, field of study, location, and more. For high school seniors, current college students, and students with GED entering college in Fall 2019.
California State PTSA Volunteer Service Scholarship – Deadline February 1, 2019. Grade: 12
This scholarship recognizes graduating seniors for their volunteer service in schools and communities, allowing them to register for courses at accredited colleges, universities, trade or technical schools. Applicants must be PTA members graduating from a California high school between January 1 and June 30 of the current academic year.
Frank and Gertrude Doyle Foundation Scholarship – Deadline February 1, 2019. Grade:12
The foundation offers academic scholarships to enable students to pursue higher education in order to encourage the endurance of a productive, prosperous and resourceful community.
California State PTSA Dr. Ralph E. White Graduating Senior Scholarship – Deadline February 1, 2019. Grade: 12
Honoring the volunteer and public-service legacy of Dr. Ralph E. White and his wife, Eleanor, this additional scholarship provides $500 each to two successful applicants of the Volunteer Service Scholarship who intend to pursue a career in a medical field.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund – Deadline February 15, 2019. Grade: Senior
The HSF Scholarship is designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage to obtain a university degree. Awards are based on merit; amounts range from $500 to $5,000, based on relative need, among the Scholars selected.
National Co-Op Scholarship Program – Deadline: February 15, 2019. Grade: Senior
As the largest independently sponsored merit co-op scholarship program in the United States, WACE will award up to 160 merit co-op scholarships for a total value of $4,200,000. These merit co-op scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors and transfer students who plan to participate in college cooperative education at one of our Partner Institutions listed on the Scholarship Partners tab on their website.
Sparkling Ice Flavorful Futures Scholarship – February 15, 2019. Grade: Senior
The Sparkling Ice® Flavorful Futures Scholarship Program awards 5 scholarships of $5000 each. Eligible applicants who complete the online application process will be evaluated based on academic achievement and the creativity of their application, which should showcase what makes them who they are and how they want to contribute their gifts through education. We receive a large number of applications and recommend you begin the application process early.
Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund – Deadline: February 26, 2019. Grade: Senior
Dado and Maria established the Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund with the Asian Pacific Fund in 2002 to help California high school students of Filipino heritage pursue careers in science and engineering–fields where Filipinos are underrepresented.
Shui Kuen and Allen Chin Scholarship – Deadline: February 26, 2019. Grade: Senior
The purpose of the Shui Kuen and Allen Chin Scholarship is to assist undergraduate students who have worked in an Asian restaurant (Asian-owned or Asian cuisine) or have at least one parent who worked or is working in one. Students must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students doing community service for the Asian American community.
theDream.us National Scholarship – Deadline: February 28, 2019. Grade Senior
TheDream.US scholarships are for highly motivated DREAMers who want nothing more than to get a college education but are unable to afford the cost. They have no access to federal aid, limited access to state aid, and they sometimes face paying out-of-state tuition. The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees up to a maximum of $14,500 for an associate’s degree and $29,000 for a bachelor’s degree, at one of our Partner Colleges. Please note, some Scholars may be eligible for an additional stipend of up to $4,000 (or $1,000 per year) for books, supplies, and transportation. The Award is renewable each year – you simply have to meet the continuing eligibility criteria.
Junior League of Orange County, California, Inc Scholarship – Deadline: March 1, 2019. Grade: Senior
Seeking qualified applicants to compete for our annual Scholarships Awards for the 2019-2020 academic year. This year, up to $4,000 will be awarded to deserving students who are striving to pursue a college degree.
National Charity League Scholarships 2019 – Deadline: March 8, 2019. Grade Senior. Scholarships are available to young women by the local West Coast Chapter of National Charity League. Applications are available in the College Career Center.
Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship: 2019, we are awarding 200 scholarships of $10,000 per student – renewable each year.The scholarship program doesn’t end with a check. Mentoring opportunities will be a key component of the program, and recipients will also be eligible for Lockheed Martin internship opportunities following their freshman year in college. The Consumers Cooperative Society of Santa Monica Scholarships Program helps to unlock brighter futures for deserving and dedicated students. Recipients are selected based on GPA, test scores, awards, achievements, community service, an essay and financial need.
Kinecta Scholarship Program – Due March 29
Kinecta is dedicated to helping young adults reach their academic goals. We are proud to offer eight $2,000 scholarships to assist deserving full-time students to help make higher education a reality.
WHS PTSA Scholarship – Deadline: March 30, 2019. Grade: Senior
Westminster High School PTSA will award 4 scholarships, each in the amount of $500.00. Scholarship recipients will be selected by a panel made up of both PTSA board members and Westminster High School staff.
Courage To Grow Scholarship – Deadline: March 31, 2019. Grade: Junior or Senior
The “Courage to Grow Scholarship” was created to help students realize their college dreams. With the “Courage to Grow Scholarship” we strive to help students achieve their higher education goals. By taking away some of the concerns such as “how will I pay for college”, students can concentrate on their education and focus on the task at hand.
The Hazel Cubbon Greenleaf Scholarship – Deadline: April 9, 2019. Grade: Senior
The Hazel Cubbon Greenleaf Scholarship is supported through the estate of Mrs. Greenleaf. Mrs. Greenleaf was a teacher and administrator in the Newport Beach schools for most of her adult life.
The scholarship was established to provide funding for average deserving students who have shown promise and improvement throughout their high school experience. Minimum scholarships are $500.00 with some students receiving awards annually over their four-year college experience.
You may attend any college of your choice.
Edwards Lifesciences Foundation Scholarship Program – Deadline: April 12, 2019. Grade: Senior
Through this program, awarding 12 four-year scholarships of $2,500 per year ($10,000 in total) to high school seniors from either Orange County, California or Salt Lake County, Utah or Puerto Rico who are pursuing bachelor’s degrees in STEM fields.
College JumpStart Scholarship – Due April 15
Hard work. Perseverance. Love of learning. These are the traits that the College JumpStart Scholarship rewards. If you are a high school, college or adult learner and are looking for ways to pay for college, then the College JumpStart Scholarship may be for you.
GWC High School Scholarships – Deadline: April 19, 2019. Grade: Senior
Golden West College offers over 25 scholarship opportunities to graduating high school students the year of their graduation. You must be graduating from high school in June 2019 to be eligible to apply for this year’s opportunity.
Jim D Harlan Memorial Scholarship – Deadline: April 27, 2019. Grade: Senior
Do you want to be a teacher or work in public school education? Have you been a high school student at HBUHSD for at least 3 years and have a 3.0 GPA? If you answered yes, and you are currently a senior you are eligible for the Jim D Harlan Memorial Scholarship. One winner will be awarded $1000. Turn application in to Mrs. Gomez in the CCC no later than 4pm.
All About Education Scholarship – Deadline: April 30, 2019. Grade: 9-12

Three $1000 scholarships to a woman who resides in Westminster or Midway City who wishes to continue her education in community college, university or vocational program.
