CLEARANCE CARDS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE CAPS & GOWNS WILL BE ISSUED
It is important for all graduating seniors to be present as roll will be taken.
NOTE: Anyone not present may be eliminated from the graduation ceremony. (For the time of practice, please see preceding pages.) Seniors will not be excused from practice to attend college summer school. Arrangements should be made with college instructors prior to graduation practice.
Seniors will not be able to pick up their caps & gowns or participate in senior activities, including the graduation ceremony, until all school charges have been paid and all Saturday School and detentions have been served. All charges must be paid with either cash or money order – NO CHECKS – at the Financial Office.

Diploma pickup – After the ceremony in Buckingham Square (Students must present identification).
DRESS CODE FOR GRADUATION
Flat Shoes Only – No pointed heels will be allowed in the stadium.
GENTLEMEN: Appropriate Attire – long dark trousers (not jeans), leather type shoes, sport shirt or dress shirt with collar – tie optional.
LADIES: Appropriate Attire – suit or dress, leather type shoes. Absolutely no high heeled shoes permitted. Shoes should be flat and comfortable. No hand carried flowers. No corsages, pins, on dress or robe. Please do not bring purses.
PICTURES: There will be a photographer taking pictures at the time you accept your diploma on stage. A proof will be emailed or mailed directly to your home for purchase.
MUGS: We will be selling mugs with all senior names on them at the graduation – $10 each.
Guests viewing the ceremony from the visitors seating area will be facing the sun. It is best to arrive early. Seats will fill up on the home side rather quickly. Seating capacity on the home side is 3500.
Questions should be directed to Mrs. Pascoe, Assistant Principal, at ext 4408. Seating will begin at 4:00 PM. Disabled guests may enter at 3:45 PM. Graduation will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. The audience shall remain seated throughout the entire ceremony.
No guests will be allowed on the field before, during, and after the ceremony.
Risk of possibly not being able to participate in senior activities, including graduation ceremony, for the following reasons:
- Appears to be under the influence or have possession of drugs/alcohol.
- Responsible for any vandalism or pranks.
- Fighting during a school activity or school time.
- Behavior that detracts from the dignity of the event or ceremony.
- Failure to clear truancies and financial obligations.
- Failure to attend mandatory pre-graduation activities.
In order to encourage high standards of student conduct and behavior, the principal may deny the privilege of participating in graduation ceremonies and/or activities in accordance with district and school rules. (Board Policy 5127)
YEARBOOKS: There are only a few yearbooks left for purchase. Seniors who have not purchased a yearbook should do so IMMEDIATELY. Contact the Financial Office. Seniors who purchased a Super Leo Card – your yearbook is included in the price of the Super Leo Card.
Thursday June 11 8AM-Noon Unclaimed Diplomas – Administration Building
Diplomas for seniors not attending the ceremony will be available in the Administration Building for pickup. Please see Registrar.
GRAD NIGHT (Sponsored by the Grad Night Committee) Saturday, June 13 – Disneyland
*Every event marked with an asterisk requires mandatory attendance by all seniors. If you do not attend graduation practice you may not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. All seniors must clear their attendance (truancies, detentions, etc.) and financial obligations. Failure to do so may jeopardize participation in graduation activities.
