Your Time, Your Impact, Their Future
At Westminster High School, we believe that strong schools thrive with the support of dedicated volunteers. By joining our Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program, you play an essential role in shaping a brighter future for our students and the community. Whether you have a few hours to spare or want to be actively involved throughout the year, your time makes a lasting impact.
Why Volunteer?
✅ Boost Student Success – Studies show that when families engage in school activities, students perform better academically and socially.
✅ Connect with the Community – Meet other passionate parents, teachers, and administrators while building meaningful relationships.
✅ Flexible & Rewarding – Volunteer at your convenience with opportunities that fit your schedule and interests.
✅ Enrich Student Experiences – From chaperoning field trips to supporting school events, your presence enhances student learning beyond the classroom.
Ways to Get Involved
🎭 Field Trip Chaperone: Join students at events like the World Languages Film Festival, where they experience global cultures through cinema.
🍉 Harvest Day: Help distribute fresh watermelons to students as they contribute to the Orange County Food Bank, supporting families in need.
👥 Parent Groups: Participate in ELA, DLAC, PTSA, or School Site Council to collaborate with school leadership and voice your insights.
