Vietnamese-American education and culture have been the foundation of Westminster High School for over 20 years. Due to student and community demand in the 1990s, Westminster High School became the first high school in Orange County, California, to offer Vietnamese language classes.
Vision
To empower students at Westminster High School with a high-quality education that honors community wealth, cultural diversity, and bilingual proficiency. Our Vietnamese Language Program and Vietnamese Dual Language Immersion (VDLI) Pathway strive to prepare students to be conscientious and culturally responsive global citizens, equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in an interconnected world.
Mission
The mission of Westminster High School's Vietnamese Language Program and Vietnamese Dual Language Immersion (VDLI) Pathway is to provide a rigorous and community-centered academic curriculum that weaves Vietnamese language and culture into every aspect of our students' education. We are dedicated to:
