Attention Students!! Club de Español invites you to our Cinco de Mayo Kermés on Friday May 3rd, 5pm to 8pm in Abbey Square. Entrance tickets will be on presale at the finance office for just $1, or you can pay $2 at the door! First 100 students to get a ticket will receive a goodie bag at the event. So come celebrate Mexico’s victory with us! We will have games, performances and chances to win prizes! Don’t forget to bring some extra cash to buy some delicious Mexican Food! See you there!!!

Attention self-motivated students with busy schedules: Interested in taking Health or World History in the hybrid format next year? There are mandatory orientations coming up where you can learn more and add your name to the interest list. The Hybrid Health orientation is today at lunch in B13, and the Hybrid World History orientation is Friday, May 3rd at lunch in T2.

Attention Seniors! Have you earned a Scholar with Specialization cord in Visual and Performing Arts? If you have taken two or more years of VPA classes and earned a C or better, come see Mrs. Strombotne or Mrs. Anderson today, to be put on the list to receive a VPA Specialization Cord at Senior Awards Night. You will wear the cord on your graduation gown at the 2019 WHS Graduation Ceremony.

Students , Having trouble with your school work? need some advice about college? or

just advice in general? then Project HOPE is the program for you. We provide tutoring in

all subjects, one on one peer advising, college preparation workshops. ust come to

room L-3 every Tuesday afterschool from 3-5:30 and we can get you started. If you

have any questions, come by L3 and ask for Mr. Pham or Mr. Burns.

Attention Sophomores and juniors. There has been a lot of inquires about ROP classes this summer. I am sorry to report there will be No ROP Summer Class offerings, however if you wish to enroll for fall or spring of next year, please see Mrs. Duremdes ROP office in the Library!

 

Attention ALL students. The Theater and Film program is looking for students interested in the tech side of things. Do you already have tech skills when it comes to running a lighting and sound board, or working a camera? If not, are you willing to learn? What about designing and building things such as props and sets? We are also seeking students who want to make videos, both on and off camera roles. Questions, come see Ms. White in the Theater at lunch or after school.

It’s TACO TUESDAY TODAY!! Come out to Abbey Square after school today for Tacos, starting at just $2!!

College bound Seniors: It is time to request your transcripts to be sent to your colleges after school is out. Go to parchment.com and order your transcript with the option: “hold for grades”. Your transcripts will be released to the colleges by the end of June. Do not choose the “Send Now” option unless you want your transcript sent immediately without 2nd semester grades included. More info is on our school website. For further questions, see Mrs Hartley in the Admin bldg.

After a very successful Prom we are excited about putting it in the Yearbook, but we have a problem. We dropped one of the Scan Disk Memory cards with Prom photos on it. If you found it at Prom turn it in and Mr. Boyd has $50 for you.
