Good Morning Lions!

 

P – Prepare for college and career.

 

Hey Lions! Do you have interest in City Council? Do you want to get involved with the City of Westminster? Stop by the Activities Office (G1) today to get more information on the Youth Committee of Westminster.

Attention Lions! All Library books are due Tuesday June 4. Bring back your overdue materials AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The book drop at the front door of the WHS Lions Library is always open. No excuses!!!!

Please get your blood drive permission slips turned in as soon as possible to B-13 or academy member who offers during an announcement in your class.

The Westminster HS Drumline is looking for students interested in learning keyboard instruments, drums, and other percussion instruments. Students that participate in the drumline receive P.E. credit and VPA Credit. If interested come see Mr. Whatley in the band room during lunch or after school. We will be having workshops on Tuesday May 21 from 3:30pm – 6:30pm.

Are you interested in taking college courses on our campus free of charge and earning college credit while you are still in high school? We are hosting an information session today during lunch. See you in room T-13

Hello Physics’ Club members and students! There will be another Chipotle fundraiser on May 21st from 4 PM-8PM! So please come out and help support the club!

All juniors and seniors, Health Career Academy is being offered at Orange Coast College for FREE this summer. This is an excellent opportunity for students to: Take college-level courses at OCC, Earn college credit AND Complete the pre-requisites for most of our Allied Health Programs and get a “jump start” into a health career pathway of their choice or one of the Kinesiology/Public Health programs at OCC. Please see Mrs. Duremdes in the ROP Library Office for more details.

Students , Having trouble with your school work? need some advice about college? or

just advice in general? then Project HOPE is the program for you. We provide tutoring in

all subjects, one on one peer advising, college preparation workshops. ust come to

room L-3 every Tuesday afterschool from 3-5:30 and we can get you started. If you

have any questions, come by L3 and ask for Mr. Pham or Mr. Burns.

It’s TACO TUESDAY tomorrow!! Come out to Abbey Square for Taco Tuesday! Tacos start at just $2!!
