Good Morning Lions!

On Saturday at the Irvine Invitational Field Show our Entertainment Unit took first place in band, Color Guard, and Drum Line. We were directly competing with Garden Grove, Tustin, and Wilson High Schools. Congratulations on the clean sweep.


Are you ready to get your spook on?! The Spooky Movie Night event is on Wednesday, October 30th! Presale Tickets are $3 for the normal one and $5 for the bundle, which includes a snack, a drink, and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize! Come down to D1, the Theater, to get your ticket. We’ll see you there!

LADY LIONS! Are you interested in joining girls water polo!? Tryouts will be held November 1-2 after school at the pool! Bring completed physical, suit and towel!

Attention Lions! Last Call for Super Leo $110 – Super Leo’s will NOT be sold AFTER November 1st. Super Leo includes ASB card, Yearbook, and Spirit Shirt – Savings of $20. ASB cards $35 AND Yearbooks $85. The price goes up on November 4th –  ASB card will go up to $40 and Yearbooks will be $95, and Super Leo no longer available. Come to the Finance Office by November 1st to get the best prices.

Hey Gals and Ghouls are you interested in participating in our Halloween costume contest, if you are come out to abbey square on October 31 during lunch, and you’ll get a chance to win some spooktacular gift cards. We will be holding 5 costume categories, funniest, scariest, most creative, best duo/group, and The best staff group. So come on down if your interested.

Students , Having trouble with your school work? need some advice about college? Or just advice in general? then Project HOPE is the program for you. We provide tutoring in all subjects, one on one peer advising, college preparation workshops. ust come to room L-3 every Tuesday afterschool from 3-5:30 and we can get you started. If you have any questions, come by L3 and ask for Mr. Pham or Mr. Burns.

The Club de Español will be representing our school at Noche de Altares in Santa Ana with an Altar designed and created by our students. Come admire the amazing alteres, enjoy good food and live a wonderful cultural experience with us and the community. The event will take place on Saturday November 2nd from 1 pm to 9 pm on Flower & Civic Center in Santa Ana. It is a free event, but there is a lot of food for sale. Don’t forget to take a picture at our altar!!! We hope to see you there!

Attention lions! The World Languages Department would like to invite you to celebrate Día de los Muertos with us on Friday November 1st in Abbey Square. Come join us to celebrate the lives of those who have passed. We will have over 70 ofrendas from 1st period through lunch so you can vote for your favorite one. We hope to see you there!!

Hey Lions! The Risen Christian club will be meeting this Thursday at lunch in room F-6. We would love to have you join us! Pizza is provided so you don’t need to take time to buy your lunch, just come!

Any girl wanting to play Soccer for the Lions this year has one last chance. The FINAL girls Soccer tryout is Wednesday, October 30th at 3:00 on our grass soccer fields. Come join the fun!

Hey lions! Don’t forget to come out to a Stand Up to Cancer meeting today in room G3 during lunch! Bring your lunch and your friends!
