ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! How would you like to earn BOTH high school and college credits while taking a class here at WHS after school. You can take Health or History and Appreciation of Cinema to fulfill both high school graduation requirements and/or UC/CSU a-g requirements. Go see your Guidance Specialists for further information.
Need a work permit? Mrs. Duremdes can issue one in the Library Office. You must have a 2.0 GPA or higher, come to school on a regular bases and not be failing any classes during the semester.
Now is your chance to show Vital Link & the world what you want to do as your “Dream Career”. Whether you want to be an auto mechanic or veterinarian, a doctor or a singer, the possibilities are endless! Have someone snap a picture of you demonstrating your “Dream Career” and you could win up to $150! Interested? Please see Mrs. Duremdes in the Library for more info. Seniors plan to order your Cap, Gown, Tassel, Graduation Announcements and Senior Remembrance items Wednesday, January 15th, from 7:15am – 12;45pm by the Office. Information packets will be distributed this Friday in your Senior English Classes. A sample of your schools Custom Graduation Announcement is on display now in the Activities Office.

Hey, 9th and 10th grade Westminster girls! Girls Inc will be here on Thursday 1/9 during lunch to receive applications for the upcoming College bound workshop that will run for the next 6 Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30pm in Room H28 until February 18th. For more information, you can see Dr. Stewart in N14 or Rebeca Adams in the Front Office.
A big congratulations to MERITS students Christine Nguyen, Casey Nguyen, Giao Nguyen, Steven Lieu, Steven Nguyen, and Eric Bui for being a state representative in the Samsung Solve Competition. In addition to winning $15,000 in STEM supplies for our school they are in contention for the National Finals and a trip to NYC to pitch their project to fruition along with $50,000. Thank you students for representing WHS well
