Come today from 4 to 7pm to McDonald’s on Westminster Blvd. to see your teacher working behind the counter at the McTeacher Night. We’ll have lots of fun!

 

Do you like video games? Come to K4 during lunch today to learn about Video Game Design. We explore everything including storytelling, animation, programming, and design. Again, if you like video games, come see Mr. Vo in K4 during lunch.

 

ATTENTION SENIORS!!! ATTENTION SENIORS!!! Go see your Guidance Specialist or School Counselor asap if you did not pass any classes and need to take credit recovery for graduation requirements and/or remediation for a-g eligibility.

Are you interested in joining football?! There will be information meetings in J3 all this week with Coach Anderson for anyone interested in joining.

Join our new Library Club! The WHS Library is starting up a new library club which will be focused on Reading. Lions it will be up to you to decide what you would like this club to do. What books would you like to read and discuss with your friends? How about hosting a Girl Scout Cookie tasting? What books would you like to have in the library? How about joining the HB Reads One book event? See Ms. Rice in the WHS Lions Library if you have any questions.

Sadies! Sadies! Sadies! Are you ready for Sadies? Sadies Snow will take place on February 7th from 7-9:30 pm in the gym. Buy your tickets today until February 7th for $10 with ASB, $15 without, and $20 at the door. There will be a taco truck, video game truck, chemistry, and much more along with a night full of fun! Guests will be allowed so grab a permission slip in G1 event before purchasing your ticket.

Attention Freshmen! If you are planning to take English II Honors during your Sophomore year, please come to room J27 at lunch today for an informational meeting where Mrs. Angus & Ms. Dadabhoy will provide a course overview to help you make your decision regarding Sophomore English.

 

You will be requesting your courses for the upcoming school year next week in the online Aeries portal. Make sure by the end of this week you have talked to all of your teachers, and know which courses you will be requesting for next year.

Hey Lions! The Risen Christian club will be meeting today at lunch in room F-6. We would love to have you join us, so come on by!

Do you need information about what classes to take in World Languages? Or do you have questions about AP or Honors classes in French, Spanish, or Vietnamese? Come and talk with Mrs. Machado in room N12. Today or Friday of this week at lunch.

Attention Lions! Come to D-1, the Theater next to the cafeteria, to get you and that special someone tickets to The Lion’s Den Movie Screening of “The Notebook”! Tickets are $3 and $5 for the Snack Pack! It is on Feb. 12th at 6:30 P.M. We’ll see you there!
