HEY LIONS! It’s time to pick your senior class best. It’s time to get to know your “Most Memorable” or say bye to “Most Likely to Succeed.” This is the first round to pick the candidates for each category. *Remember this is a nomination form. ALSO REMEMBER THIS IS FOR SENIOR CLASS ONLY. NO UNDERCLASSMEN. ONLY SENIORS CAN NOMINATE OTHER SENIORS. Students , Having trouble with your school work? need some advice about college? or
just advice in general? then Project HOPE is the program for you. We provide tutoring in
all subjects, one on one peer advising, college preparation workshops. ust come to
room L-3 every Tuesday afterschool from 3-5:30 and we can get you started. If you
have any questions, come by L3 and ask for Mr. Pham or Mr. Burns.

Cheer on your Boys’ Volleyball team as we face Valencia High School on Thursday, March 12th, starting at 3:00 in the Lions’ Gym!

Juniors, Juniors, Juniors! Please come by the ROP office Monday 3/9th – Friday 3/13th to sign up for Fall classes. ROP’s office is located behind the library desk. We look forward to seeing you!

WHS BASEBALL HAD A BIG LEAGUE WITH A WIN FROM PITCHER MATT “THE MIRACLE” MALLOY” AND A SAVE BY GERRY RANGLE. SATURDAY WHS ROLLED INTO ORANGE HIGH SCHOOL AND WON 9-2 BACK BY A COMPLETE GAME WIN BY CHENTE AVALOS. JUSTIN SOLIS WENT 2-3 WITH A DOUBLE AND 2 RBI’S AND VINCE PHAM WAS 4-5 WITH 3 STOLEN BASES

COLLEGE VISIT ALERT! COLLEGE VISIT ALERT! Interested in college out-of-state? Curious to see what colleges offer outside of California? Representatives from the University of Arizona will be in the CCC at Lunch on Thursday, March 12th. Stop by to see what University of Arizona can offer you!

The Library Club will be meeting, selecting officers, and sharing their favorite books on Wednesday March 18 after school. “Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.” – Jim Rohn

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS! Do you remember your link crew leaders? Did they help guide you as a freshman? Well now it’s your turn to take on the role as a Link Crew Leader. Self nominations will be held at lunch on March 11-12 in room B4. If you wish to be a leader, come out to the portables during lunch for a quick meeting!! Yes, and, Go Big, Total Support!
