Ms. Guillen graduated from Hope International University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education from National University. She has been a special education teacher for 14 years, spending the last 11 of those years in the VOICES program. She loves her family and friends, her job, and loves to travel! She feels blessed!

Mrs. Cusick is in her 6th year with the VOICES program. She graduated from UC Irvine in 2009 and completed her credential and Masters degree in Special Education from Chapman University. Mrs. Cusick’s favorite part about the VOICES program is the students’ excitement about school and learning. When not at school, she enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, & dog.

Mr. Duarte is in his 8th year of teaching and his 6th year with the VOICES program. He graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 2007 with a BA in History, and currently holds both Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe Credentials. He has a passion for working with students with special needs and is so happy to work with the great kids in the VOICES program. When he is not at school, he spends time with his wife Sarah, and their sons Austin and Aaron

Mrs. Williams is in her 33rd year of teaching and has a credential from Cal Poly Pomona in Physical Education with an emphasis in Adaptives. For the past 9 years, she has been teaching both Modified and Adapted PE for the VOICES students. She is excited to begin teaching Unified PE and continue to provide opportunities for our students in Unified Sports events. Her favorite part of P.E. is seeing the confidence and joy in her students as they learn new skills. She and her husband have 2 adult daughters and 2 grandchildren.
