Westminster High School will be closed for Thanksgiving Break from November 24–28, 2025. There will be no classes and offices will be closed during this time. School will resume on Monday, December 1.

Westminster High School is celebrating Kindness Week from November 17–21, with daily dress-up themes and small acts that bring our campus together. Each day features a fun activity in Abbey or Buckingham—from chalk messages to painted rocks to class-color pride. Let’s spread positivity, lift each other up, and earn 5STAR points along the way!

If your family could use a little extra help, you’re not alone. We’ve gathered a list of trusted Orange County programs offering food assistance and other essential resources for our Lion families.

Our Spanish Classes and Club de Español brought the Westminster campus together in a vibrant celebration of culture, remembrance, and community spirit through the annual Día de los Muertos Festival.

Our Adult Transition Program students brought fresh produce, handmade goods, and community spirit to campus with their first Farmers Market of the year.

On Friday, September 26th, our entire campus came together for Harvest Day, where students and staff rolled up their sleeves to harvest our watermelon crop. Every hand made a difference as we contributed to the OC Food Bank.

WHS will follow a special bell schedule all week leading up to Thanksgiving Break. Bell schedules are different on Wednesday and Friday; please review the posted bell times, arrive on time, and plan ahead for activities and after-school commitments.

Four of our outstanding Westminster High School teachers have been awarded grants from the Assistance League of Huntington Beach to help fund student projects. Congratulations to our amazing Lion educators!

Westminster High School will be closed Monday–Tuesday, November 10–11, 2025 in observance of Veterans Day. There will be no classes and offices will be closed; activities are paused unless otherwise noted by coaches/advisors. Regular operations resume Wednesday, November 12.
