Graduation Ceremony Guidelines
Hello Lion Families,
We are looking forward to celebrating our Westminster High School graduating class of 2026 on Wednesday, June 10th. We will begin our ceremony promptly at 5:00 PM. Our gates will open to guests at 4:00 PM and we encourage early arrival to allow for plenty of time for parking. Individuals needing assistance will be admitted into the stadium at 3:45 PM. Below is a map that identifies parking locations for the event. Additional parking will be available entering the Main Street entrance. Handicap parking is available, but it is limited and based on a first come, first serve basis. For families with handicap placards, reserved spots can be found in a few different locations. Handicap parking is available from the Hazard entrance in front of the pool, and in front of the stadium entrance near the ticket booth. Additional handicapped locations are accessible from the Main St. entrance. Again, please give yourself plenty of time as there is a limited number of parking spots. Families are welcome to begin lining up at 3:00 PM at either of the designated entrances (see map). Below you will find a list of requirements that will help us ensure that our ceremony is an enjoyable experience for all.
- Balloons, airhorns, umbrellas, or anything that may obstruct the view or sound of other guests are NOT permitted.
- Please do your best to carpool to the event. Parking is very limited.
- Security and supervision staff will be available to direct you for parking.
- While in the stadium, there is no “saved seating” and blankets or other items used to reserve spots will be removed.
- Guests will not be permitted to enter and/or take pictures on the field (before or following the ceremony).
- After the ceremony, all graduates will exit the stadium to the tennis courts to pick up their diplomas.
- Please remain in the stadium for the entirety of the ceremony (approximately 1 hour). Please be mindful that movement by spectators may cause a disruption in the ceremony and cause other guests to miss their graduate’s name being called and their moment to walk across the stage.
- We recommend that you meet your graduate after the ceremony at Abbey Square (in front of the gym) or at a predetermined area to take photos! (May we suggest in front of one of our many beautiful murals to make for a great backdrop!)
- Tables will be selling various drinks and WHS attire throughout the ceremony.
If you have any questions regarding graduation or senior activities, please contact the WHS Activities Office at (714) 893-1381 ext. 52409 during regular school hours.
Thank you & Go Lions!!
