The Westminster High School campus was buzzing with excitement as our Adult Transition Program (ATP) students hosted their first Farmers Market of the school year on Monday, October 20th.
Staff and students gathered during lunch to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, admire handcrafted ceramics, and enjoy festive fall vibes—complete with pumpkins, tasty samples, and plenty of smiles.
Thanks to the generosity of Nutrition Services, attendees had the chance to purchase extra produce and try delicious taste testers that highlighted the importance of healthy eating. The Ceramics team also joined in, offering beautifully crafted pieces that added a creative touch to the event.
The ATP students took the lead in setting up, managing sales, and welcoming guests—showcasing the life skills and teamwork they’ve been developing in class. Their dedication and enthusiasm made the event a heartwarming success and a wonderful reminder of the power of hands-on learning and community support.
A big thank-you to everyone who stopped by to encourage our students. Your participation helped make the Farmers Market a day to remember!
